Time means nothing if you are not doing something.

I’ve been involved in some interesting little activities over the course of time. All of them focused (intentionally or not) appearing to be focused around creating community.

So take a look at the sites listed at the right and described below. They should give you a sense of what we do around here for fun.

The Sumner Knight Series is and effort to raise money for the upkeep of a wonderful local chapel. Here’s some video of the efforts to date.

The Keene Music Festival, now in its ninth year, is an event in the local community that provides a day of free music on a boatload of stages on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We also host a series of shows every summer of Friday nights and Saturday afternoons.

OnStage/Live From Elm City is a local cable access that was done for about a year or so with and very talented videographer and photographer by the name of Galen Trinkle. It was an awful lot of work, bit did a lot to bring local and regional performers to the public’s attention.

Last, but not least, is
Cartoon; that band that just doesn’t know when to go home. Bothering the Penn State community for over twenty-five years now, they are considered an institution. Or is it that they should be institutionalized.....
